Add An Extra Element of Style to An Existing Design

Wednesday, September 14th, 2011

It’s great to add a perfect accent to an existing design on your next project.  Pair  a punch with a label that you already have by using colored card stock to add zing to a finished project.  Or, emboss a die cut with emboss powder and heat set to create a smooth and shiny focal point for your project.   Apply glitter to the front a die cut .. or turn it over and glitter the shape for a funky silhouette.  Use the die cuts as masks to create cool outlines for your projects.  Stamp a small image on a die cut and watercolor it.  Add a little stitching to a flower on a card or creation with a needle a crochet thread, or embellish the center of a flower(s) with the thread.

All of the above ideas add an enormous difference in the look of a project.  Have fun trying them!
