With the beginning of a new year comes many exciting possibilities. I always like to examine where I’ve been and where I’m going to make sure that I like what I see. This is a natural place to start fresh in some areas and redefine what I want to do in my scrapbooking.
The story about the young, beginning farm wife is my guiding light. Her husband sent her out to plow a field, and she spent most of the day looking behind her as she plowed the field. When her husband came to check on her, he explained to her that she couldn’t plow a straight row by looking behind her all of the time.
That story exemplifies how I feel about goals in my scrapbooking–they are an inspiration as I plow forward through life. I frequently find myself adjusting my goals as I accommodate for new pages and their designs, but goals provide significant direction and power as I make decisions and move forward.
I encourage you to set aside time this new year to look at the stars–and then move forward in achieving those scrapbooking goals.
