Card Design Tips

Making and giving cards inspires both you and the imaginations and hearts of your receivers.  Here’s a few tips for achieving those thoughts.

Use glitter wisely: a little goes a long way.  Using the glitter to emphasize a stamped or stickered focal point, makes a big impact.  In addition, a card’s simple design ensures that the sentiment stands out.

Stamps add pizzazz to a project, even when used in unconventional ways.  An example would be to create a fun theme of tic-tac-toe with “x” and “o”  or heart stamps.  This creates a playful card with a fun expression of hugs and kisses to the recipient.

Use white space to draw attention to your message.   Stamped or stickered images coordinate beautifully, but the space around an important word catches the eye first.  An example is the word “love”.  Using this suggestion offers a beautiful way to convey your thoughts through words.
