Card Making

Monday, January 21st, 2013

Card making can be interesting when you design a slider card. You simply pull on a card stock tab, and out slides a hidden image. But a double slider card has a double surprise: when you pull on the card stock, two images slide out–one magically emerges from the front of the card!
To create this card making idea, punch a divot in the top of the card using a 1 1/4″ circle punch. Make a vertical slot through the front of the card using a window punch. Place the back slider inside the card, aligning the top with the top of the divot. Put two dimensionals through the slot and adhere them to the back slider.
Next, adhere the front slider to the front of the dimensionals. Cover the slot with your front stamped images using dimensionals, and finish by adhering the card edges together.
This is different idea for card making that will add a unique touch.
