No matter what your scrapbooking project may be, you’re sure to find a chipboard shape or letter to create the perfect accent. I choose the board that I wish to use first.
Next, I select what paper coordinates with the project or I create my own patterned paper using card stock and stamps .
I use the chipboard shape as my template, and cut the paper at least 1/4″ larger than the chipboard. The 1/4″ is needed when I sand the paper. Perfect cuts aren’t too important, as the imperfections are sanded away into smooth edges every time. The paper is then adhered to the chipboard using a 2-way glue pen.
Once the glue dries, I lightly sand the edges of the paper to meet the edges of the chipboard using a sanding block. The chipboard gives my projects outstanding dimension and visual appeal!
