Why Journal in Scrapbooking?

Why Journal in Scrapbooking?

Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011

Many of us tend to be special-occasion scrapbookers.  We scrapbook events, such as wedding, birthdays, holidays, and vacations.  Journaling on these pages can be easier than other spreads, because these photos tend to capture specific things we want to remember.  Of course we want to continue these valuable traditions, but scrapbooking everyday events can also be interesting and fun.

Why not take a picture(s) during your next trip to the grocery store or when you are outside working?  Plan a page titled “A Day in the Life of……?  Then include your journaling.  The world is pretty interesting!  If you start thinking about everyday, ordinary things you can scrapbook, you’ll find a lot of possibilities popping up throughout your day.  If you think of scrapbooking from this perspective, you may find that you do journaling first, then snap a few photos that reinforce the journaling.
